There's no denying that South Florida's tropical climate engendered a glamour of its very own. But, is there truth to the myth that "Miami style" is all about bathing suits and flip-flops? And is "librarian-chic" really a thing?

Join us as we view images of style and beauty (from hoop skirts to punk rock), marvel at over-the-top hairstyles through the centuries, fly by some fabulous aviation-related fashion, and take a close-up look at examples of 19th century lacemaking and embroidery. Meet some of our local style stars - including pin-up photographer Bunny Yeager and South Beach legend Gianni Versace - and thrill at the beauty of Art Deco-era fashion illustrations.
