Libraries are no strangers to uncertainty and change: continually adapting to meet the evolving needs of the community. The 2021 SEFLIN Regional Conference seeks to celebrate, explore, and empower libraries by highlighting ways libraries respond to and meet ever changing external and internal challenges. The SEFLIN Regional Conference Planning Committee seeks presentations, posters, and lightning talks that focus on ways libraries can continue to create safe, equitable, inviting, and innovative spaces, programs, services, and more!
We will be accepting proposals from March 1, 2021 – April 2, 2021. Please submit your proposal via our online submission form. Presenters will be notified of acceptance by April 19, 2021 and will sign a Letter of Agreement to present. Presenters will be asked to allow their sessions to be recorded and provided electronically to registered attendees.
Showcase a program, service, or resource you and your library have developed that would be of interest to the library community. The Theme "Improvisation in Improbable Times" is broad and covers topics from responding to the new needs of patrons, programming, technology-services, and other ways you and your library has overcome and responded to challenges. Describe how innovative and creative thinking has led to developing and providing a service or resource to meet the needs of your community.Contact Joshua Stone with any questions.SUBMIT PROPOSAL
